Falling out of the sky!

Since installing FSP I have been experiencing a frightening and frustrating phenomenon. From time to time when on approach or just
after take-off I will drop 100 feet or so in a mater of 2-3 seconds! It doesn't matter if I am on ILS approach or flying by hand. I am
always well above stall speed and I don't get any stall warnings although it feels just like a stall. My post-flight report doesn't say anything
about turbulence and the weather was fine. I have only been flying SEP & MEP since I am in career mode so I don't know if this would
happen with jets too.
I couldn't find anything on this with forum search so if anyone has any ideas??? Thanks.

Notice anything else like sudden pressure changes? Check your altimeter just after it happens and see.

Also, go to aviationweather.gov and check out the AIRMETS/SIGMETS for where you're flying as well as the PIREPS. Yesterday I
encountered some nasty turbulence over the Florida panhandle, and guess what, so did a real-life UAL jet...or so he reported.

You use Active Sky? If so, maybe you have wake turbulence or VAS active?

FsP don't have at all the control of the position of the aircraft, I would say it might be
your weather program ?

This happened to me also a couple of times, mostly just before touchdown. The last time, I confirmed that ActiveSky was indeed simulating wake
turbelence at the time. I have turned it of now because of I think the wake turbulence effect is not as real as it should be.

One time, I experienced a wake effect just before touchdown while the only aircraft nearby was taxiing on the ground toward me, and the last
aircraft had landed over 5 minuters ago. Another time, I was flying a cessna 172 and flew through the wake of B200 (small twin turboprop). I dropped
2000ft before I could regain control. These two experiences seem unrealistic to me. Off course I may be wrong but I doubt whether a taxiing aircraft
creates any noticable wake in front of it and also I don't think the wake of a small turboprop has a huge effect even on small GA aircraft.

Definately sounds like Wake turbulence is selected in the Active Sky opyions.
