Sound jumps to full volume...

Half the time I switch to an external view the FSP sound effects (brakes, engine, etc) jump to full volume and scare the crap out of me
even though they are set mid-to-low in set up. Any ideas? Thanks

even though its set to med low do you have enviornment set to full as well as engine? meaning the sliders....

The slider in FS for Environment is at 50%. In FSP the brakes, engine, roll, etc (exterior view noises) about 50%. I have noticed that when
I am on the ground these sounds are at full volume until I start moving the plane then they drop to correct volume levels. When in the air
the volume is at full when I scroll down (shift+S) to an exterior view much more often than when I scroll up (S) to an exterior view.

did you go to your window in fs9 under fspassengers go to options youll see volume setttings. Im not sure the exact location in
fspassengers right now im at work, sorry however there are volume settings also in fsP that changes breaks fa sounds and all that..
