Fuel Load

hey all, im havin a few problems with loadin fuel into my aircraft, heres the prob, i wanted to do a flight from EHAM-KIAH in a
KLM 777-200 but i cant load enough fuel, as in FsP wont let me, is there any way of editing this? i.e. in the aircraft.cfg or in the 777-200.ini
file?

FSP shouldn't edit these characteristics of the aircraft.cfg file. Try adding fuel manually via FS9's menu.

What is the problem? Where did you get your 777?

If it's a posky one, you maybe have to edit the empty weight of your plane, because often posky delevoppers input wrong "empty weight"

Anyway.... in order to increase the fuel load AFTER you have started boarding with FSP and realize you are a bit thin.... can you do this
through the default FS9 load out menu????

I believe you can edit fuel load AFTER you have loaded up FSP, however I may be wrong. I'm not running the latest version, and I'm not
sure if this was changed.

Why would you be a bit thin? Didn't you learn anything in the Air Force? C'mon now! Always take a full tank! You never know what you
will/won't need! That was our fuel planning in the Marines! Unfortunately it's not quite that easy with commercial aviation.

Are you flying currently? I have an old friend that flew F-4's for the Air Force. Col. Caldwell (won't list a first name for obvious reasons...

I don't think you can through FSPassengers once it is loaded.... if so I do not know how to to without having to redo the entire reloading
process (which is a pain)

And well you Marines are always all or nothing anyway!! Actually I am pretty new to this commercial airline stuff... I do not know the
fuel burn rates and have not found a program yet that will allow me to input a point of departure and destination... build me a route and
give me my fuel needed for my A/C... (Yes... I'm getting lazy)

All I am currently flying right now Brad is nice lil' ol' Cessna Super Skymaster!!!! Such a sweet little bird!!! After I got out I went a got a
Dispatchers license in Texas....... went to work in Operations for a fractional and flew with the fractional for awhile as well... got tired of
that.... went back to Montana to be happily retired... then last April got recruited by a small airline to work in Operations again.... and am
just absolutely enjoying myself!!!! :D

I used to know a Major "Hoppy" Caldwell... I was a Captain at the time with the Wild Weasels at George AFB

Actually, if you input the correct variables, FSNavigator is fairly accurate at calculating fuel amounts needed. It's also a full-fledged fuel
planner. Works great

Many add-on aircraft (including the PMDG aircraft) have available fuel planning utilities available. I use one that I downloaded from the
PMDG website for my -700... works like a charm, although not as accurate as I've seen a few others

Hmmmm... I got FSNav.... but still not very familiar with it.... perhaps you could guide me through it for fuel computations....

When FSNAV prints a flight plan, if you entered the correct aircraft, and other flight variables, it should have a required fuel amount on
there. Remember that's only a rough "trip fuel" calculation, and doesn't calculate reserve fuel, or anything like that.
