I just want to make sure that crash detection needs to be turned off to avoid hitting a bump in the taxiway and that causing a crash. I do
have have crash detection off and this evening when making my turn into the gate I hit that dreaded bump that bounced my 744 up in the
air and well triggered a crash.

I know it's the Afcad file and not FSP but just to make sure this does not happen again so I am asking the question.

I've got all forms of crash/collision detection turned off. For me, FS9 is just too buggy to allow crashes or collisions of any sort (scenery
issues can cause this, and I just love when AI traffic taxi's right into me! That's "As Real As it Gets!"

I have found this happening too. You know what my solution was?

I found that using the "realistic" gear points on the Project Opensky aircraft was the culprit. I found the old "standard" FS2004 "3 point"
contacts and now it works like a charm without the "bump and crash" effect.

Hey Brad, i know you use UT, so im wondering ar you going to get Radar Contact V4 than? To be honest, I've never had a problem with AI
traffic running into me. I don't do anything different either.

Yes, I do use UT. I'll take a look at Radar Contact. I remember hearing about earlier versions, but what exactly is it? I noticed a link in the
FS2004 forum. I'll check it out.
