PMDG 737NG

I thinking of buying the 737NG but I heard that the copilot keyboard input for heading, altitude, etc, don't work with this aricraft. Anybody wth the
NG - could you let me know if this is true. Thanks

I have the 737NG, but I havent used it yet. Its pretty complex and I am still trying to master the simple aircraft. I am working my way up. But
what I'll do in a minute is load it up and just test it to find out. Ill post back shortly.

Ok...well, i just tried it out. To tell you the truth, I couldnt get the auto pilot to work at all. It wouldnt respond to my commands wiether I put
them in manually OR through FsP's keyboard commands. (Yes the AP was on). So it appears they do not work. But then again, maybe I just dont know how to work the autopilot.

No, it DOES WORK! FSP is FULLY and 100% compatible with the PMDG 737 NG aircraft. I use FSP with the PMDG 737-700 (SWA
liveries of course  ) Nearly every time I use FS9, and I can vouge for it's compatibility. There isn't a single flaw, and yes, the co-pilot command inputs DO work. If you're considering the PMDG aircraft, lemme tell ya, it's well worth the money. I'm a First Officer here in the US for Southwest Airlines, and I fly the 737 NG on a near daily basis. The PMDG aircraft is the best thing I've seen for FS in quite some time (except for FSP of course . lol. Try it, and let me know. If you need any help understanding the complex systems, don't hesitate to send me a PM, or ask in the forum. I don't mind helping at all.

For me too it does work with two little problems some other users here (more technically advanced than me) could help me:
The co-pilot commands don't work and I am always getting a "NAV" light penalty although I am sure now after five flights to have set the correct light at least one time. I have the 737NG but I cant use the copilot keyboard input for heading, altitude, etc.

After new test : The keyboard input for COM is function OK - but not for NAV.

try changing the keyboard setup for nav key.. another add-on my "eat" the N key by default..

Sorry - the keyboard doesn't work for autopilot in the PMDG 737NG. I have test the keyboard after changing the "keyboard setup" but the
autopilot dont work. COM, NAV and "set transponder" work OK. |
