[Solved] Odd glitch on header tab in flight

I wonder if anyone can help me.

I have started to get a strange glitch on my header tab, at the top of the screen when you press left Alt to access in
flight menus.

After the FSPassengers banner I have addon manager like most people. However after that I start getting the type of aircraft
and their call signs
being put up on the header as well.

Now I uninstalled FSPassengers, much to my sadness to see if it happened without it on my system. Hey presto, nothing on
there. I reinstall
FSPassengers and lo, there they all are again.

Unfortunately whilst they are on the page it is also impacting on framerates, which is the real issue I have with it.

It is almost as if "traffic" view in your view tab is being transferred onto the header tab. Yes I have also done a
validation of FSX-Se on Steam and all
was ok and I completely uninstalled FSX-SE and reinstalled it to no avail.

Can somebody please shine a bit of light on this "glitch" I would be so very grateful. I would include a photo but as I am a
computer novice I do not
know how to do that outside of an email, sorry.

Would this have anything to do with DPI settings? Certainly doesn't sound like a FsP issue. Yes, posting a screenshot would be quite helpful.
You can host your screenshots on a site like Photobucket to upload pictures and screenshots...free of course. Select a screenshot you want to post on
a forum and Photobucket has specific image lines for this. It's much easier than it appears.

Thanks for the advice Joeflyer. I went onto the photobucket website and followed your instructions. Hopefully this screenshot will explain better than I
can put into words. I have looked at my DPI settings and have adjusted them but the same thing happens. I have uninstalled fspassengers and there
is no issue so I have no idea what the issue actually is.

N.B. It wouldn't be so bad and easy to ignore if, for some reason it also makes my frame rates take a hit.

Interesting. I have never seen anything like this before. Congrats, you may be the first!
Do you have a traffic manager program running at the same time?
Also, did you install the latest FsP update as well?

no i have not as yet downloaded the update.
I have only Traffic 360 or Traffic X at my
disposal. I have uninstalled Traffic 360 and
have installed Traffic X. I am currently
awayfrom home so will install update and
run a test when i get home and keep you
posted on the results.

Cheers for letting me know about the
photobucket site. Will be helpful for any
future issues i may have.

Maybe you should disable TrafficX before you update FsP and then test.

On Photobucket you can use the "img" lines they provide instead of the URL ones....where you see brackets around img and /img. All you do is copy the img line for
that picture and paste it in the forum. And, you're quite welcome

Well I have uninstalled Traffic 360 and updated FSPassengers.

I then installed Traffic X instead and performed a quick hop from Catalina (KAVX) to Santa Monica Municipal (KSMO).

Traffic settings on 100% for both GA aircraft and airliners.....just to see if the problem would rear it's head again.



NOTHING, no glitch no impact on frame rates. Very strange. I have no idea what caused it , whether it was Traffic 360 or a gremlin in the works.
However the update plus changing my A.I seems to have cured it, thus far.



I may change it back to Traffic 360 just to see if there is a compatibility issue in there somewhere but I will keep all posted on here in case it benefits
anybody else having the same issue.

Cranking up the AI sliders to 100% may end up raring it's ugly head again but I hope you are able to keep things stable that way.

I have used Traffic 360 with P3D 2.0 and it's quite demanding. Of course now I don't use any AI in 2.5 and 3.1 until I can get a new pc. Of course
spending $4,500 on a system I want is not quite in the pipe line yet....tsk tsk.
