Suggestion: Flying without passengers

When running an airline, eventually one has do to empty flights: checkout flights for new pilots, test flights after repairs, faa approbation flights etc. There might be passengers on those flights but
they are not paying. I would like to load the plane correctly and log those flights with FsPassenger. I do not want to get penalty for leaving passengers behind and I want to load non paying
passengers even if no regular passenger is waiting.

Why dont you set the tickets prices extremely high? I don't think they are crazy enough to buy them (even not for FSPassengers :wink: )

I have done that. As I am going with a restaurated DC-3 aircraft for luxury short trips I declared all seats VIP in the payload-model and set the price to maximum, as well as the service-expenses.
I have about 9 people coming to my 26 seat plane - I had Paris Hilton and Harrison Ford flying with me last week :;

I should probably set the service expenses to the minimum - yeah, thats a good solution to get rid of the rich guys...

mhhh the "hard way" to do this (well no SO hard the payload editor is simple to use)
is to edit the payload model of this aircraft, you have the choice of class price
for each station and you can also select "no price"

You'll be able to load non-paying passengers....

That is a good solution! And that brings me to the next idea: there should be a quick way to manually choose between different payload-models in the Load-aircraft-dialog.
This would make empty flights extremely easy and it would be of great advantage for those aircrafts that fly in different configurations.
The MAAM R4D DDay-edition is a good example, where you can stow away the paratrooper seats (you can actually SEE the seats fold back!!!) and thereby put the aircraft into cargo configuration.
Also, the naming problem would be reduced. You have a C-47 without a matching payload-model? Choose the next best (which is a DC-3). How about that?
