My first problem, Landing gear not going down

Hello everyone,

I was doing a flight about 30 mins ago from London Heathrow (EGLL) to Atlanta Hartsfield (KATL) and when I was on my final approach I went
to put the gear down and they did not budge so I did a missed approach and tried to get them down again but nothing so I had to do an
emergency landing and it did not end well.

When this happens, what are you supposed to do?

I was flying the A340-600

Well this is when FsPassengers gets exciting. In this situation, if you couldnt get the landing gear down you had to do a nice belly landing. Very
rewarding if you can land your aircraft down safely with the gear not going down. Just a matter of practice, but make sure when your going on finals
that you are coming in at the right speed and pitch the aircraft nicely up.
Gentle movements when landing, just make sure you have plenty of runway ifyou do; if not make sure you hit the runway a little earlier

I tried to get the speed down as much as I could without the plane descending too fast and when I touched the runway every thing seemed to
be going smooth but I just couldn't stop the plane then I went off the runway and in to the lake near the airport

If you get this scenario again I wish you goodluck. First time I had this mine didnt end well either, but thats the fun with Fspassengers; so many
different scenario's that can happen to your aircraft at anytime of the flight. Makes your brain start ticking inside finding ways to resolve it

This answer is WRONG!!!!!! Before you commit to a belly landing make sure that you tried all other venues. Ctrl +G will manually bring
down the gear. If that doesn't work then try a high G manuever to force the gear down. Always try everything before you decide to scrape
your belly on the asphalt.

I believe you can hit ctrl g several time to manuallt extend your gear
