Low fuel question

Lets just say for arguments sake that i am a lousy captain and i suck at loading fuel for long flights in my 737-800. What would the real life
procedures be for changing airports and contacting ATC and what sort of trouble would i be in? :P And also should i declare emergency through fs
passengers once i have selected a adequate airport to land at?

The program will ding you for the low fuel even if you declare an emergency and divert to another airport. 1). The emergency is of your
own creation and 2) you will take a reputation hit for taking the cattle to the wrong airport. In real life if you took off without enough fuel to
even get there let alone your proper VFR or IFR reserve the FAA sends a seal team to your house to shoot your dog. I'm serious, I've
seen it happen.

The unfortunate issue with FSP is that it doe not recognize fuel-starvation and emergency procedures coming with it.
Regulations state at least 15-20 minutes more of fuel upon landing during regular flights. It depends on where you are going and the ype of aircraft
you are flying though.

Seal team, nice lol. Yeah well i guess i just need to keep better notes for fuel consumption and eventually i will get the hang of it. Thx for all the
