Hello all,
As you may have noticed, I have transitioned to a new computer with help from an older topic I posted answered gracefully by
whiskey-zulu - Thanks.
As I ascend in altitude in FSX, my maximum airspeed for many of my aircraft, including the Thomas Ruth (freeware) Airbus
A340-600 is stuck at the
level it is when I am on the ground. For example, my maximum speed in the 'flight info' when I am in an FSP flight, It shows
Max airspeed 340 kts, Max
gear 270 kts Max flaps 220 - I am fine with these figures as I am on the ground. However, As I climb altitude, and pass 10
thousand feet, my Airspeed
is still a maximum at 340. Should I attempt to go faster, Overspeed indicators occur, and the aircraft breaks into thousands
of pieces.
Before, on my old machine, I had it fluctuate properly, meaning that as I gain altitude, the max airspeed went up. Now, it
does not, and I do not want
to have to fly my aircraft at 300 kts for a whole journey, when I should be flying at or about 570 kts.
Thanks in advance.
