Failures:
Yep, I love failures. I run a 20% fixed failure rate and generally buy the older 7000 hour aircraft just to get more emergencies to deal with!
What I'd like to see are more varied failures though.
Failures can come in three types:
Engine failure - emergency landing
electrical failure - either find the short and turn it off or emergency landing with no avionics
hydraulic equipment failure - flaps / gear dont come down, well you land anyway and hope for the best.
I would very much like to have another type of failure.......
Individual instrumentation failure. ie altimeter / ASI / VSI stops working.
GPS failure. The result being that suddenly you have to navigate manually rather than depending on the all seeing magic eye of GPS.
