Wrong authorization message! need solutions.

I suspect much of the problem is -- ironically -- that FSP has become too successful for one person (Dan) to keep on top of everything. I've visited
the FSCaptain forum and it's a (far?) smaller community, so prompt / personal attention can still be given by the program's creator -- probably as
was the case in FSP's early months / years. If FSCaptain attracts growing attention, I imagine the same problem may arise there too -- unless
development / design / support / etc is delegated.

If, as I suspect, the problem is that Dan is just one man with a successful product, I hope he drafts in some help soon.

I know patience has run thin or completely out for many Win 7 users who continue to have problems using FsP/FsPX. I sympathize with
you all. Dan is the only person who can effect a change here.

who says it's just a win 7 problem? I have it installed on both my xp and win 7 partitions and neither work. well maybe he should start
responding to peoples messages/concerns on the wrong authorization with either "yes, I am working on it" or "I have abandoned the
product, you are on your own". He brought the madness of this issue onto himself. You cannot deny that.

Where in my statements did I deny anything? Moreover, this issue is largely a Win 7 one with fewer XP issues. Never the less, you get my points, don't
you? Besides, my statements are primarily referring to the posting of personal information, agree?

Certainly I, before I was a mod, never had any issues with FSP and I read the forums from cover to cover before I downloaded the demo. After a couple
of days with the demo I was convinced that FSPX was a great program and so I purchased it, but of course that was just as Vista was making its sordid
move onto the shelves, and long before Win7. I to this day still run a machine with XP on it for FSX and FSP with my other add-ons including Lvl-D
767, tonnes of freeware scenery for the SFO bay area and Heathrow 2000, most of POSKY's 777 paints and models, and their 757 and 767 models and paints
for UAL and Continental. I've even had to re-format my harddrive in the time I've owned FSPX and not had any issues with it once the drive had been
reformatted and the program installed.

However, from experience with other software from large developers I do understand how frustrating it is to be left in the dark when there is a
problem, but nine times out of ten those other programs haven't had hundred of other potential programs that could cause an incompatability issue.
With flight simulator because there are so many extra add-ons developed by external publishers, there will always be clahses in the programming - I
believe that I read on the Lvl-D website that FSP may not work correctly if installed on computers running the LVl-D software. When it comes down to
it, we are all responsible, as customers that a) the product will work on our computer with the specs we have; b) it is the appropriate version of the
software to be used and c) we take the time to sit down and read through the read-me files and become aware of any potential issues that may arise
when using the product.

Yes, I get your point, I figure I would just leave that well enough alone. the wrong authorization actually pops up very rarely on my win7
partition but for some reason my performance for both fsx and fs9 sucks on win 7 compared to xp. For instance I compared sitting at cyyz
will everything max in fs9 xp and get at very min 25FPS. Same situation in Win 7 and I get 4 FPS. ....FSX is less dramatic a difference but
XP still offers a bit better performance..maybe 15%. not a huge concern cuz i just fire up my xp partition, but I would much rather run off of
win 7 if i can....I know off topic totally but any hints or tips would be appreciated.
