Yes, amazing idea. But here are some of the things I have learned over the past few years on VATSIM with FSP:
1) Plan ahead
- Get charts, METARS, Weather, and so on
2) Know the airport
- Is it busy? Can you find your way around
3) Extra time
- Plan extra time onto that "arrival time". You never know when a stupid pilot may be on the runway when you are landing, or if ATC is
gona re-route you
4) Look ahead
- Always look ahead of your flight plan, not were you are. This will give you better SA.
5) Dont be afraid to talk
- See some red on that WX? Dont be afraid to ask ATC for a quick "Re-Route"
6) No matter what
- Have fun! You can always start over in FSPassengers, its not the end of the world.
