Loading PMDG and FSPX

Hi,

I have a small issue with my PMDG MD11 aircraft working with FSPax on the loading phase.

If I want to have my T/O CG, I have to use the aircraft loader done by PMDG. As my PMDG is loaded I start FSP which will obviously will
destroy the settings of the aircraft loader of PMDG...

Are you doing it backwards?
1) FSPax and then
2) PMDG loader ?

By the way, another question : how do you handle your fuel managment ? do you only use the FMC or did I miss some abacus or tabular
into the PMDG documentation ?

Welcome Bombrill I typed in "PMDG loading" in the search function and came up with lots of topics on the loading and fueling
procedures on the MD-11 for FSX. It won't take you long to find the answers.

I don't have the MD-11 for FSX but for FS9 only. I always fuel via the PMDG interface and load the aircraft via FsP. Of course I had to set the
PMDG load configuration to zero. Now, the FSX version may have a different technique on loading, so please review the threads you find
by the seach function I just described.

Yep, but unfortunately it didn't answer my question...

My problem is that once FSPax is started, I can't use the PMDG loader anymore, and I can't import a current aircraft config into the PMDG
loader to have my CG positions... is there any sequence that works fine ?

Disable the fsp loader for that plane and use the pmdg loader. You still need to add passengers in the fsp loader, but it wont alter any weights in
the aircraft.cfg

1) load your flight and settings
2) Start PMDG fuel loader (I assume that's the progam you're talking about)(I only use the loader for fuel purposes leaving the passenger weight
blank) and enter in the distance to travel, diverting airport, minimum landing fuel weights etc.
3) start fspassengers and in the fuel area it should show the amount of fuel loaded by the PMDG loader. Move the Passenger/cargo weights sliders to
where you want them to be.
4) load fspassengers
5) everything should be correct.

To have proper CG you have to use PMDG loader for everything. In FSP loader go to advanced aircraft settings, and disable weight loader for this
plane. Then adding passengers and cargo will not change anything in the aircraft (you'll just add virtual weight ) and the CG will stay as it
should be. You may get occasional refuelling not allowed screen but pressing OK should be enough.

That's how I use it and it works just fine.
