High average ground speed.

I've been using FSp for a long time and didn't get any problems with any add-on aircraft. But lately I'm using CLS A340 and when I use time
compression it seems that the a/c is speeding away. I am doing KJFK-EGLL with GS 510 and only 1.5 hours into flight and my average ground speed is 900Kts.

Could anyone help me with this?

EDIT: I dont remember changing anything I do have FSUIPC but I dont think FSP is using it.

Hi there,

i don´t know if i point you to the right direction, but check on your fspassengers settings if your speed units are not measured in
something other than kts.
I could think of that your speed units indicate mph instead of kts so that could explain the 900.

No, It is in Knots. I am really sure because I can travel between KJFK and EGLL with average speed of 1.47 Mach.

hi,

you are right that is far too quick for an A340. Ok, then i guess it may be because of the time acceleration and something gets messed up
when calculating your average speed.
For my part, i have never had an issue with the calculation of the average speed on the flight report and i almost never make use of the
time acceleration because my CLS planes tend to go out of control when accelerating time more than 4x. So since it is not a setting issue
i am going towards to blame it to the time compression.

The funny thing is that I have never had this problem before. Everything was fine until now. Also my PMDG and Wilco is messing up, once I use
autopilot (even without time compression) and switch to windows and when I switch back to FS the autopilot went crazy. It disconnected itself and
start rapid decent.

I am thinking it might has to do with FSUIPC wind settings but I couldn't thing of anything and I don't remember changing anything. Could you tell me
your FSUIPC settings?

FYI I use Active Sky 6.5 as well.

hmm the only settings i altered on my FSUIPC is the wind smoothing which i changed to 10 seconds for each degrees or knots of wind
change...the rest is all default values. I do not think its an issue with FSUIPC. BTW, i use Active sky too.

Regarding the autopilot acting crazy i have a similar problem that affect only my PSS planes though. When i minimize fs and surf the web
for example and return to the game i find the plane sometimes in a descend rate far beyond cabin comfort....but yet this strange behaviour
does only occur randomly, but suspectively often when i watch videos on youtube, i think it has to do with my reality xp Gns installation
which i never had the feeling of being properly installed initially, but i am too lazy for a reinstall. This Gns has caused quite often my fs to
freeze but i have not deinstalled it because it seems to work properly with other a/c. Perhaps you have something with RXP running too?

In your case i would deinstall the CLS A340 first and see if everything returns to normal, afterwards i´d try installing again CLS and check
for a second time if things stay the same.

No I have nothing from RXP. I really don't understand the problem, The last time I've flown everything was OK and now everything is a mess. Every
single a/c add-on. I have tried using clear weather default setting from FS9 but still occurs. My error happens every time. I don't feel like
re-installing all my add-ons, it's too much.
