Does Turb cause damage?

Hey,
I was just wondering if some major turbulence can cause damage. Im just asking coz im flying in my cessna now with fsp activated and there is
major tubulance. as in throwing the plane up and down a 200 foot range.8o
And just to let you know i have all realism settings on max including aircraft stress causes damage.
Any answers appreciated

ya there fear rate was holding steady at 29%

I've crashed the cessna flying into a thunderstorm, so tubulence can crash your plane in FS9. The up draft and downdrafts were
tremendous. It would have been horrible IRL You probably should remain at or below the turbulent air penetration speed in the aircraft
specs.

the heaviest turbulence I ever had on an fspassengers flight was 34% , man my pax never recovered from that part my % didn't came
anymore above he 90%

Excessive stress induced on the frame of an airplane does cause a crash, hence the accident report....."the aircraft broke into several
parts at an altitude of XXX feet".
But you must fly way beyond the limits of the airplane to cause this. So on the sight of towering cumulustratus, fly a biiig circle around the
area
