My other Aircraft

I think I remember seeing on FSP while setting up my company that the other planes in my fleet would generate income without me flying them, i.e.
while I am in flight.

My question is that do I need to create fake pilots for this as I only have myself as a pilot or is it all automated?

You certainly get a fleet bonus for the number of aircraft you have, whether you fly them or not.
