Hello everyone,
I'm a new guy here. I have been lurking and reading with delight about the many features and the hours of enjoyment that FsPassengers has been
bringing many of the members here. I currently have another product which approximates cargo operations, but it's not nearly as in-depth as
FsPassengers, so I thought I'd give it a try.
To say I'm amazed and impressed would be an understatement!
I flew my first flight with FSP today after opening a small regional carrier with Beechcraft 1900C's and flew from Palomar (KCRQ) to Palm Springs
(KPSP). It's a short 53 mile flight; I figured short enough for me to evaluate my purchase. What I didn't expect was the adrenaline run I experienced
when knowing that my every move was going to be graded. It's a good thing I pulled out the checklists, because I used them and double-checked them! My
first approach into KPSP had to be declared missed, and I was worried the PAX would be upset, but they sat comfortably in their seats, the only
complaint was of turbulence earlier in the flight. On our second approach, we made it down and squeaked it onto the ground at -230.55 ft/m. I got a
98% passenger rating, and an Overall Flight Result of Perfect. My pilot got 180 points, and I got a big smile on my face.
Overall, really neat product. Not too difficult to get going, although there is a bit of a learning curve that is easily gotten past.
Thanks to everyone here whose posts I read before buying the product, and thanks to Dan for making this so much fun!
