HB100 Flight Checklist for flying with FSPassangers

After 70 flights with FSP I decided to make a Checklist for myself for future flying with FSPassangers.
So fast you forget the one or the other little thing or mess them.

It might be usefull for the one or the other too, so i print my list here free for you to use.
(But the best is of course if you create an own one. You learn the most that way.)

Bit of an edit:

Engines should not be started prior to boarding passengers. It should say that APU started or GPU plugged in and packs on. Engines
should be started after pushback. Take-off flaps should be selected during the taxi. Take-Off clearance should be requested before
entering runway.

No real cause for using speed brakes unless really needed. Descents should be planned to minimize speed brake usage as it only
means you were cruising for too long, burning too much fuel.

About the engiens.... Can someone comfirm this, Is this like that in real, you push back first and start engines then?
If this is really like that I like to change that. It's just that my experience so far was different:
I only boarded planes (jets) at gates where the engines were already running. I can't remember to have ever boarded one without
engienes running. About APU and GPU...need to read a little more about that first. I am not confortable with this shorts.

There are two path's The 'Entering Rwy' Strobe on is meant for 'taxing into position' where you taxi right onto the rwy into take off position
whereas the second path is for the 'holding short' where you do not enter the rwy.
I am not a real pilot, so tell me if this is incorrect.

The Speed Breaks for descending thing. Well I agree in this seen from the economical side.It is not obligate and also the control lvl not
and more a 'special' pratice of mine. I also don't do that with all models, because some have enough air resistant to bring the speed
down also in a descend by their own.
But on my A320 I so set/aim the speed breaks the way that I end up with Speed 240 at FL110 so I can smoothly continue descend right
through 10'000ft and don't have to kill speed at my Controll lvl. Doesnt always works smooth thought I have to confess.
FsP is very strickt with that 250knts below 10'000. So this is all a little 'trick' to manage to enter 10'000ft with no more than 250knt.

I do exactly the same on my A320. But I must say that this does vary from a/c to a/c.

At the occasion of the FSPWT, and after approx 70 flights on the same aircraft, I decided to broaden my horizon and give other models a try.

So.. so far my "experience" is as follows:

The Kittyhawk B737 tends to slow down extremely fast.
The POSKY B737 tends to have problems keeping a stable speed when descending.

Of course, both are freeware, but I simply do not have the time to "immerse" into the wonderful world of payware aircraft.

You usually start engines during pushback or immediately after pushing back, depending on the ground crews positions and the aircraft.

I can assure you that engines are not started before boarding. The engine-like sound I'm sure you're used to hearing is the APU
(Auxilliary Power Unit) which is a small turbine inside the aircraft used to deliver electrical power without running the main engines.
Because engines burn so much fuel it is uneconomical to turn them on until ready to taxi. GPU means Ground Power Unit and is a large
diesel generator that is towed to the aircraft by ground support personnel and plugged in to supply power. GPUs are becoming popular
as they burn substantially less fuel that the APU.

Partly it's a place problem. For example the set of the take Off Flaps I have keept in 'Ready for TakeOff' thought you told me that you set
them on taxi.

Min speed is right I think.
You may use them above 60knts but not below.

- Some changes in the seat belt sign handling. (passengers often complained that they had to wear the seat belt too long in v1.2)
- Set Flaps 1 at the very beginning. (before engines off, cause they only work with engines on on some planes)

The Flaps 1 avoid Flaps penalty on jumping planes with low gear connection points. Best is to exit and safe the flight before with flaps 1
so you have the right setings on enter again.

Oh and a hint, when you check the fuel, check it in both way (too less or too much). You suddently can carry too much fuel when an airport
has refuel integrated in the scenery and then you get an overwightened aircraft wich is as dangerous as flying a plane with no fuel left on
board.I made my experince now about that! (FSP World Tour2 Leg#29)
