What would class as bonus points?

Noticed that my pilot is being promoted early. I've got up to C8 which I see you need 115hrs for but I've only done 94hrs. I found the topic
in the FAQ and it states that you can get promoted early if you have enought bonus points.

Would bonus points class as stating destinations, precise arrival, failures and so on?

Yes, that is my understanding.
Also you need the points more than the hours. Until you have the points, hours by themselves do not do it.

hmmm interesting. I'm sure I have enough points for C9 just not the hours
