How to increase the number of fleet aircraft from 40

Hi all

I just went to buy my 41st aircraft and got told that I had too many in the fleet. Is there a workaround this? Some way to increase the
number of aircraft one can have in a fleet?

Hi there.

You can't increase the max. number of aircraft in the fleet. I'm not sure why the number was set to 40, but I'm sure Dan had a good reason to limit it
to 40. The size of the database etc. I don't know. It's been discussed in this thread:

I'd suggest to create several airlines. Say, one for international jets, another one for regional flights, another one for cargo, etc etc. So you can
multiply those forty aircraft as many times as you need.

The bad part is that, either you transfer your pilot from here to there all the time, or else you create at least a pilot for every airline. So then,
if you feel in the mood to play a bush pilot, you have Mr. Tom Bush or whatever; if you want to haul cargo across the pond, you have Mr. No-Happy-Face
Grunt, and so on.

I guess that's the only work-around I know for the aircraft limit issue.

well 40 quite alot but if i want to be real for example BA has lots of aircraft.
