Biggest glitch ive ever seen WTF factor 10/10 (not fspax fault)

I saw an F16 pilot on FoxNews the other day - he was demonstrating a simulator for DaySide and said that he had personally pulled 9
Gs. If I remember right, though, the aircraft can pull far more than a person can - still nothing more than 2 digits!

Our pilots pull 9 g's pretty regularly. You kind of get used to it after awhile from what they have told me. I've done it myself when I got a ride in
a two-seater back in 97. Let me tell ya, it hurts!! The F-16 is limited by it's flight control computer to 9 g's. I don't think our old airframes
could handle much more than that.

EDIT: I was reading about ejection seats on http://www.howstuffworks.com and it said that pilots may experience up to 20 G's during
ejection...

I was watching (again) a great show on the HistoryChannel today that used computer graphics to simulate actual aerial dogfights of the
past. GREAT show! Anyway, one was of an F4 versus a Mig17. Crazy duel! My guess is that a lot of what happened to those guys was
used to make TopGun (the movie). He did the classic, "I'll hit the brakes and he'll fly right by" move with the Phantom. Also, he went into
a flat spin after his tail section broke off!

Anyway, as the RIO was talking about having to punch out, he said that in addition to the rockets on the seats blasting you out at high G's,
you also had to be concerned with ripping your arms off from the sides of the canopy! Yikes!

Also, speaking of ejections, I rememeber a documentary a looooong time ago that showed the development of ejection systems.
Originally, they planned on blasting you down out of the plane. I think the test was using a bomber - don't remember what but it was a big
one, it seemed. Anyway, they decided against this method because the foruce downward was so great, the pilots were getting
dislocated shoulders just from the initial jolt!

Whatever those test pilots get paid, it's not enough!
