This would be great for Orbiter, think about it.

hey you should give the link and present somes images for those that don't know....
![]() excerpt from my Orbiter site: Orbiter is an amazing free 3D Space Simulator written by Dr. Martin Schweiger, Ph.D. It has exceptional graphics, but make no mistake. It is not a game! What sets this Space Simulator apart from all others is the accurate math and orbital physics, which makes reaching planets like Mars, a true challenge. There is also a great community around it that have created loads of add-ons - new spacecraft models, both historic and futuristic, navigation instruments, ground bases and lots of other things. Give it a try - you won't regret it if you are a space fan. My page mostly contains add-ons written by me, such as OrbiterSound a complete sound environnment fully integrated, while Orbiter's base package doesn't have sound. my site: http://orbiter.dansteph.com/ Orbiter is the best Space simulator ever created and it's even free... here somes images: reaching the old mir, transferring crew: ![]() Ah damn I have only crapy image on my site... atlantis at launch: ![]() Endeavour: ![]() "DOD" sattelite launched by.... ![]() ... a Delta 4 ![]() my Addon the DGIII: ![]() and It's panel: ![]() TransX, the tool that can help you make complex trajectory: ![]() and... thousand others add-ons The site of Orbiter creator is currently down but you can download orbiter from here: http://www.moonport.org/orbiterdist.html And don't forget that Orbiter will not have any sound unless you download my OrbiterSound add-on here: http://orbiter.dansteph.com/index.php?disp=d Orbiter THE space simulator... Orbiter is great. Probably the single best freeware simulator available, with all the amazing addons of course! I have had it since the 2001
release and it has grown and improved hugely. Dan's stunning DG3 (probably the best Orbiter spacecraft addon) gives you a great impression of the quality that Fsp will have. Flightsim seems to be taking all my time recently, mabee I should check out orbiter again once in a while ![]()

I agree, the DGIII is the best and most accurate spacecraft I have encountered. I have one problem though. Whenever I try to reenter it
always overheats and I die. I'm not coming in too fast and all the doors are shut. Is there a tutorial you or someone made on how to reenter properly?

Thanks for that link Dan, but could something like FSPassengers work for Orbiter? Or Could the current FSPassengers be modified only with slight adjustments be converted for use in Orbiter.

curious idea.... FsP have exactly 48'919 lines of code now on
wich 1/2 are really specific to Fs2004 or air flying.... Would mean 6 month of work minimum.... (at full time) The DGIII took me already around 6 month in fact... Dan Post Edited ( 06-01-05 05:06 )
