Here's one from a prospective English Major in College :P
Fs2004- Game or Simulation? Take your Pick. Flight Simulator offers a totally free world to fly in, however you could possibly want. Some enjoy just playing with different aircraft and seeing what will happen. Others take the Simulation to a new level, many have spent thousands of dollars collecting payware aircraft and panels. The select few who want to take yet another step, create their very own cockpits, modeled after their favorite aircraft. For the hardcore Flight Simulation fan, a revolutionary new add-on has risen. FsPassengers, a payware program that adds passengers to your flights has arrived. The end result of the genious of Daniel Polli is nothing short of breathtaking. FsPassengers takes "Simmers" to the next level of flight joy. Never again will they have to sit in an empty plane, in an empty world and pretend they are carrying passengers across the ocean. FsPassengers runs within Flight Simulator, giving you real-time passenger opinions, flight data and much more. Some key features of this add-on: 1. Start your own airline- FsPassengers allows you to totally customize your airline. Whether you would rather fly a Cessna full of fishermen through the snowy mountains of Alaska, searching for that secluded airport near the best fishing spot in the world, or transport powerful oil executives in complete VIP comfort to a business meeting in Las Vegas, FsPassengers can do it all. Customize your airline's starting cash, allowing you to purchase your first old and beat up bush plane, or a fully outfitted Boeing 747-400. However you want to begin, you can with FsPassengers. As you build revenue and your fleet size increases, you will gain bonus revenue for each aircraft in your hangar. 2. Flight Reports- At the end of each flight, you will be alloted points based upon your performance during the flight. These points, combined with your total flight hours add up to increase the "Rank" of your pilot. As you gain new licenses, the size and type of aircraft you can purchase will increase. For example, a fledgeling pilot will not be able to fly a 747. You must slowly acquire licenses untill you have enough experience and hours to acquire the license to fly that class of aircraft. Don't be discouraged, this option, together with nearly any other option, can be disabled, so you can easily hop right into a 747 if you would like to rake in the big bucks. 3. Airline Management- You manage your own airline as well! Set prices on food, drinks, and hot meals. You can also set ticket prices to your prefences, but keep in mind that high cost tickets will draw less interest in your airline at first. 4. Aircraft Maintence-That's right, you must also keep an eye on the maintinence of your aircraft. Damage your landing gear during a hard landing? Expect to pay some hard-earned cash to fix them up. Routine maintence after 25 hours is a must. You also get a readout of the aircraft's current status as a percentage. The lower the percentage, the more apt the aircraft is to have a serious failure during flight! 5. New failures-Birdstrikes, Flap problems, Gear becoming stuck. These are only a sampling of the new failures introduced by FsPassengers. Be sure to monitor your instruments, as a fuel leak can begin to creep up on you slowly and become a huge problem unless you are not watching the fuel gauges carefully! 6. Co-Pilot and Flight Attendants- Your trusty Co-Pilot will faithfully call out V speeds, as you set them before a flight. A dialog box appears with V speed options, simply type in your speed, and you will hear "V1...Rotate" as the aircraft hits the specified speeds! It gets no easier than that. Flight Attendants will give the passengers a before flight welcome and safety message, as well as notifying them of an emergency landing, serving food, and giving updates during climb, cruise, and descent! They are also responsible for feeding your passengers, but only when you decide it's time for dinner, a snack, or a nice fuzzy drink. I have owned FsPassengers for many months, and I am beyond sure that it is by far the easiest and revolutionary add-on to ever hit the runway and roar into the glassy heavens. If I could give it a score, it would by far exceed 15/10 in my book Alex Beia Proud FsPassengers owner Boeing 757-200 Sim Pilot, 1,000+ hours. |
