Not getting emotional at all.
I have seen too many forums (including one I attempted to run myself) ruined by trolling, spamming and this sort of Internet juvenile
delinquincy (sort of a virtual "hoodie").
Alot of people are no doubt starting to discover FsP and the impression given by the forum may well influence their opinion of the product
and whether to buy or not. I see it as a real problem - more than just an over enthusistic youth. Hopefully the moderators will take swift
action to deal with the situation so, as has been said, we can get back to discussing this eagerly awaited add on.
One suggestion for Dan and the mods - quite often multiple and needless posts is an attempt to increase rank and posting count.
Although it might take away some of the fun, perhaps disabling this feature might encourage more mature posting? I know that UK
Trainsim had a real problem with this type of thing - one liner and frivolous often off topic posts - and disabling the view of total posts and
rankings cured it overnight.
A forum "charter" to which all members must sign and agree to might also be effective.
