Food service

Hi, I noticed that when I have a SID with altitud restriction (may 5,000 or 10,000 fts) the crew start the food service, when ATC cleared to
me to climb to final FL, the crew announces thet cannot continue (obviusly).

So, may a thing to include in next path.

I don't use the auto service for exactly that reason. I would recommend manual service, to avoid that the crew start something at the wrong time.

Yeap, unless your are one of those pilots that do long flight from more than 10 hours and actually leave your flight on auto-pilot and return
9 hours later.

I am not smart, can someone please tell me what SID stands for?

Standard instrument departure - means the little pattern you fly to get from the runway to the flightplan (so all the planes dont crash)

I would prefer 3 settings.

Full auto service (like we currently have)
Full manual service (liek we have)
Semi auto - a mix of both:

The hostess will ask you if now is a good time to do whatver (but only during the first 80% of the estimate dflight time). You then give
a yes or no. You also have the option of starting services like you can now.

(or possible having a swicth in flight to flip between auto and manual)
