nice pics, and videos everyone. I have a question I live in the US, in Massachusetts and i'am 14 when should I start my training, should I
start now? what should I do to start, as in how do i get started.

I started at late 15, soloed at 16, and got my PPL a month after my 17th birthday. Ironically, I am going for my Commercial checkride a month after my
20th birthday... You'r at a perfect age to start, provided you have the maturity and drive to corry through with it.

On another note, anyone have any constructive criticism on my video (posted above). I'm trying to get better at making them.

My advice is it depends on how intense u will train. . .I started when i just turned 16 and soloed a month down the road and than i had to
sit and wait for 6-7 months before i could go for my checkride and it just wasted me money because i neeeded to stay current. . .my
advice is to start a min. of 7 montths before you turn 17 if you want to time it just right and save money. . .soloing on your birthday is great
and all but in the long run it wastes hundreds of dollars.

Another thing is money, Im 18, and all i can afford is the rec license, I have it now, but i went thorugh three jobs, and alot of working hours
just to get it. Most people cant just start when they are really young at 16 and such. Im gonna need a loan for college flying up in Thunder
Bay in canada next year, so its not gonna be easy.

To give some1 an idea of how much college is for a real world pilot i got 1,300 dollars from the school for federal aid and took a private
student loan out for 12,200 dollars, so that is a totally of 13,500 dollars FOR FIRST SEMESTER. . .so dont forget that.

Navymmw, my brother-in-law was considering taking lessons in Nashua (KASH), just off route 3 at exit 7W. I think he said it would be
something like $5,000 for everything including all the pilot gear, air time, ground school, etc. This was for a private pilot's license,
obviously and I think he said they use C172's but don't quote me on that!

Anyway, does PanAm Clipper Connection under Boston/Maine Airways still fly out of Hanscom? Just curious. I know they did but, not
sure if they're even flying anymore. I was up at KPSM a while back and all the 727's were just hanging out, plus a pile of retired UA 727's,
waiting to painted, possibly - just grey and blue; no name.

I also seem to recall Air Shuttle and /or American Eagle flew from Hanscom. Just wondering cause someone was asking about air
service there not too long ago. Since my work is about a 10 minute drive from KBED, I was trying to hook him up but, found nothing.
