Makin' FS Movies

I've been thinking about starting to make Flight Simulator movies but I have no clue which type of software to capture the video. I've heard
that Sony Vegas isn't to great and I downloaded a trial version of Fraps. Is there any other pieces of software that are better?

Well I searched the forum about people making videos and I saw one that said that Vegas makes a video with crappy quality. But what do

Sony Vegas does a pretty good job, but it depends on which format the movie is being rendered. I always capture my vids with Fraps then
convert them to a .mpeg or .wmv....at the highest quality I can get. Of course Sony Vegas Platinum is what I use to put all of the clips
together, special effects,etc. Then I render them together.
