When a passenger has died in flight it seems that the airline's safety record is not affected. I'm not sure if this should be so, especially if
the cause of death is directly related to the flight. For instance,
I was flying two passengers in a C172 and ATC kept telling me to climb to 14,000. Of course I would never try this in real life, but since
they were denying my requests for lower altitudes I tried to comply. I was also about to doze off when all of the sudden my passengers
start screaming--about jumped out of my chair.
So anyway, one of the passengers died because of no oxygen and I still have a perfect safety record (no crashes).
