3d glasses??

I have been thinking about getting one of these for a long time....

Would you recommend using these glasses for fs9??

Looks nice but such 3D perception can only works if the software provide stereoscopic images (in fact 1 image for left eye and another
one where the point of view is right shifted for the rigt eye).

So I don't see how it can work if the software is not provided with such feature. I would not buy such kind of "magic product" without a test.

Haven't tried it. I do have a couple of points for you to consider though.

The nesessity to generate 2 images effectively halves your graphics card capacity. That is unless you are ready to invest into a second
card (if this particular product works with 2, which is likely).

And more importantly, your lovely 3D picture will still be locked inside your tiny (relative to a RL pilot FOV) screen. IMHO, not quite worth it. I
read a post once, the (RL) pilot said that flying FS is like piloting a mailbox looking through the slot. I am not sure a stereo system would
help in this situation.

I´ve had this discussion up before with those glasses. I bought them a while back, but sent them back to eDimensional because my
graphic card and the driver that I use now is not working with the eDimensional software. You need an old graphic driver from Ati to make
this type of glasses to work, and my "new" graphic card does not support that kind of driver. So, You might consider not buying it, if you are
running on a new machine...

too late.... i am very impatiente.... i bought them and they actually do not work!!

Every single game crashes because of the software. Apparently the ALL ATI drivers work with the card....

Going back home.... LOL

Still the same problems Aibiria...looks like a ton of $$ to be spent on something that is likely not gonna work. Tell ya what, if you want to
throw away $300, send me a Cashier's check and I'll put it to good use

I wonder how it would work in a sim, like maybe if you get a bird hitting your windshield it would look like is gonna hit ya ^^

this time i have been more careful and i have been doing research. It is actually compatible with fs2004 and fsx and its not like a 3d thingy but
having a big 64" in your face. I saw also a video in youtube about it...

I don't know, it is something different... i have found a company in uk which is selling them for £250 with 30 days money back.

Had a pair of these ages ago,they never really worked because i was using a lcd instead of a old fashion crt monitor,sent them back(with
a charge i may add) and bought a triplehead2go........much better

To be honest with you i was pretty dissapointed with them, they look cheapy and impossible to configure
So did i. I returned them the following day

I think i will get a pair of VR for this xmas though.... hehehe
