Hey. does anyone here have experience with vasFMC?

I was given a lesson on it by someone from my VA. I forgot to ask them about flying offline and practising for online flights. Basically, how
am I supposed to fly with it offline, since it controls the flightplan for me, instead of FS2004? How do I get the default ATC to acknowledge
my IFR plan and allow me to fly my route? (if you were flying online, ATC would acknowledge your filed flightplan - how do I fly with default ATC?)

i just tried out vasFmc 2.0 release 7 for one of my a/c which does not have a build in FMC. Before i post my q i try to answer yours first.

You need to load your fs flight plan into fs2004 for ATC to work as usual...vasFmc accepts your fs flight plan as well...youll get an option
on your fmc something like copy active fp which loads the fs plan into your vasFmc.

However default FS ATC is not aware of capabilities of vasFmc therefore i do think the use of vasFmc in offline environment makes little
sense because FS ATC will not ask you for what vasFmc is capable to do and designed for..in other words with vasFmc you can fly
precise arrival or departure procedures, holdings ect which FS ATC will never ask you to do.

Ok hope that helps a little. Now to my question.

In vasFmc you can set N1 limits for take off and climb phase but there is no limit for cruise mode. Now i have equipped my L1011 with
vasFmc and when i am in cruise level i cannot reach my desired speed because i cannot change the N1 limit for cruise mode and i know
that my engines can power up some more. If i deactivate A/T i can easily get to desired speed, once i activate A/T again N1 level drops
that the desired speed cannot be hold any longer.
So how can i change the N1 limit in vasFmc?
