Vista Speech Recognition Problems

Hello,

Just bought a new headset to work with VOX ATC. However, when i run the Vista Speech Recognitition setup, I get this error:

The wizard could not start. Make sure your audio hardware is working properly and check your audio configuration in the audio devices and sound themes
control panel.

I have checked that the microphone is in the correct slot and chekced everything and still no luck Any ideas?
