ILS landing after FMC

Ive gotten some problem with my ILS approach after a FMC flight. I use PMDG. I didn't have sids/stars, so I just set a point 15NM outside
the rw. I put in the two frequensis i needed, ILS, and VOR. But the plane didn't react. I turned on APP on AP, and turned off Lnav and Vnav,
but nothing happened. Any help ou there?

Was it a 737 or a 747? If it was a 737, did you set the front course in NAV1?

Front course? I put the ILS frequensi in nav1, and the airports VOR in NAV2. It was 737

he means the course from the runway (I think) ex. runway 9 is course 090

The rw heading then? in the? or in the course at the AP panel?

you have to enter the runway heading in the course square from the AP (but if you press on the button init ref then you see the
frequency of that ILS and the runway course ) enter the frequency's in NAV1 and NAV2 , set the 2 swithes from VOR1 on VOR2 on and
enter the course in the course . turn on the radio everthing on VOR1 VOR2 DME ADF (must be all illuminated) and then normally it should
work

No way Adde, actually it only takes seconds to do.

I'll try to make it sound more simple.
Go to the radio panel, in the nav 1 &2 radios, enter the frequency for the ILS runway from your flight analysis. While in Flight analysis, put your
mouse over the runway to get the runway heading (ex. 090, 281)

After you have the course, set it in the MCP panel (AP panel)
Then, simply arm LOC and APP

Many times you get these FS9 runways that are back course frequencies and won't work at all. Be mindful of that.
