I Just Had The Craziest Idea...And I Think I am going to attempt it !

Alright here we go,

I know many people here have gone around the world in FSP (World tour, and some peoples own personal tours) But..

I just thought about taking it one step further....Visiting every country in the world, all 194 of them.
Meaning you have to make at least one stop in every country, possibly making a few stops in bigger countries such as Russia, Canada, United states etc..

I am going to start planning a route soon, and try and find the perfect plane (something, un-original, small, and nice looking (freeware)).
If anyone has an recommendations for a plane, that would be great

I just finished my little trip to Australia (sorry again for not finishing the story, hehe) , and now I really want to try this feat.
Has this already been attempted? I haven't heard of it done but I have only been here for about a year, and a half

I am pretty excited to try this

Not quite, but Martin and me (Plus peter on majority of flights) did every capital of every country in europe on my euro tour




We used atr on most flights.

Ah yes, I read about that.

Well, I know it will probably take a long time to do, I just hope I don't lose interest in the tour(never now what will happen months from now) .
I want to do it as an experience, and just to say I have accomplished doing so.

What speed acft you interested in? I've got a very
nice twin engine Scaled Composite Boomerang. I
forget it's cruising speed because i haven't used
it in a while, but it's an asymmetrical design with
one engine in the body the other in a seperate pod
on the wing. It's meant to improve engine out
performance. It cruises around 300 320kts, has gps
and most of those mod cons. I know you said you
wanted un original, but it's a nice free model that
handels quite well

I think 194 Destinations is much too much.
I just wonder does every County have an airport?

The Europe tour looks interesting.
I personel would like to fly a coast tour at the mediterain and the north sea (europe). I like it when there is the sea close to an airport.
Or/and some flights in the mountains. And maybe only about say 30 destinations.

@Ryan: Ok: let's say you fly 2 legs per week; that would take you nearly two years to complete....

@HB-100: I was already thinking of something similar for the next FSPWT. Do you guys REALLY want to wait for FSPX before kicking off the next tour?

amphibian like a Twin Otter with floats? Allowing
water landings in remote places?

@HB-100: yup, every single country has an airport, not all of of them have big runways though.

@Cboy: sounds like a cool tour, is gonna take months to complete though.

@P-ATC: do you mean like a DEHAVILLAND, that sounds like a good idea, an amphibian with wheals.

After looking at my world map, I think I might not be able to make it to every country with the plane I choose (Beech Baron V2.1).
I was thinking about doing every land country instead (on a continent)

Well, yes I understand it would take a very long time to complete, but I think can do about 6-7 a week, some legs would be very short. Though some
very long, so it all depends.

I had another idea last night though, I might just circle all the continents, except Antarctica of coarse.
I am going to try an plan some sort of a route first, so I shall see what works best.

@P-ATC - Thanks for the offer, and suggestion, but I have found the plane I am satisfied with:

Beech Baron:
- New real world sound pack
- New panel
- New paint job
- Upgraded .cfg (improved handling)
- Little extra goodies here and there.

I have no problems waiting on FSPX. My Tool keeps me busy. Don't have much time for flying. Also I wait for FSX SP2 (in december).
I can not speak for others but I myself I am not in a hurry.

p.s. I guess it will be End of Decmeber but probabily more like End of Januar till my tool is finish ( v1.0) maybe then SP2 is downloadable
also and maybe FSPX is finish then also ... and if you start the tour then all comes together! happy new FSx year!

i will probably join the tour for FSX, just need to get it first but if they have another sp planned for decemeber, then that sounds like good
news. Im giving up on Fs9 on vista, and its time to move on anyway I think (It just suck to think how much money went into Fs9 to do that
all over again for FSX :/

But to CB original: sounds like a neat idea, that is just going to take a hell of a long time. You will deff wanna have a full album of ss from
every flight, would make for a neat site idea... maybe eventually it could become somthing people will do like the FsPWT.
