Google Earth

I downloaded Google Earth but found it to be a little worse than a photo real scenery in MS. My home town is State College, Pennsylvania, USA.
Can't see anything (take a look if you have the program). I tried San Francisco and can see that it is better. Guess this is mostly useful if you
live in populated areas. Disappointing

I live in France and here only the major cities are covered in Google Earth. And of course the limit is 300 meters (or appr. a quarter mile)
from where I live. Great, I only see a greenish bitmap where my house is supposed to be.

Strange, a very small town in Poland was not scanned till last week, so as I understand it, they are getting around to the world!

In Scotland, it was basically Edinburgh for ages then lately more strips put in.

Horses for courses, and everyone to their own idea of what is facinating, but I say again, I just find the whole thing awesome.
