Default AI traffic

Hello again!

I've moved and have a new computer.

I've installed FS9, but I can't remember how to make the FS9 default AI traffic NOT show up. I don't want to see nor hear Soar nor World Travel etc,
again!

Can anybody refresh my memory?

As far as the AI goes: all I did was install MyTraffic. Haven't seen the default traffic since..

Do you have a AI traffic add-on?

Maybe if you go to options-traffic and uncheck GA and/or airliners?

BTW, check out this GA AI free addon: "gatraffi.zip" @ flightsim. It's pretty elaborate as you can see from the readme:

+ Generate GA traffic for every installed airport of the whole FS2004 world at once

+ Simulate different GA traffic behavior

I really hate Avsim´s search enginge, you can´t find what you are looking for, or is it me that is to drunk on my birthday allready? Searching
for gatraffi.zip as fruitfly said, and I even think you missed the c at the end of the word, but I can´t find it, or avsim can´t find the
file, not even in the extended search area. Grrrr

It sounded like a good add-on!

Last time did you use Project AI >> http://www.projectai.com/ I am thinking so, looking back at your screenies.

And to get completely rid of default planes, After you have installed Project AI planes, you can go

C:>>Program Files>>Microsoft Games>>Flight Simulator 9>>Scenery>>World>>scenery

and you can remove the file traffic030528.bgl (which contains your default FS9 planes), Just keep it in a folder just incase you need it
down the road.

and all of your PAI planes traffic routes are in the one called PAI.bgl which you leave.

The only downside is it will get rid of the GA aircraft( like beechcraft or cessna's) but their is a package to only get those back.

I don't have myTraffic, and have just downloaded a few airlines from World of AI. (No PAI downloads yet)

However, I've followed your advice, Ryan to get rid of the default stuff.
