add-on airport :/

I installed yesterday the free add-on airport orio al serio (LIME) from ISD but when I intercept the ILS he lines up in front of the runway but
he doesn't follow the right glide slope, he does a dive of death and I can control the airplane up and down . but not to the left and right
wich is normal. so I was thinking this is because of this airport. or maybe it is another problem . ( if you get an AFCAD file with an add-on
airport, where do you have to put it ?)

Man, that's a toughie. Could be any number of issues. What type of aircraft? Who is the make of the aircraft? Are you certain that you have
the ILS freq. and front course dialed in correctly? Is the APP button selected? Maybe if you had a screenshot of the instrument panel when
you make that same approach might be helpful for us to determine if there maybe something you are omitting when making an approach.
It could be true that the add-on AFCAD may have offset the approach course quite a bit,too.

That's one of the reasons I haven't added any other airport freebies or payware to my sim. I'm afraid of things getting really screwed up,
and I don't want to go through the headache of troubleshooting the potential nightmare.

You will have to look at anything but the scenery....unless you installed a FS2002 afcad.

I use the complete series and have no such problems. Try to do an approach in a default aircraft and see what happens!

the aircraft was an 737-900 from Project open sky , and the panel is the default one. ( maybe if I delete the afcad it will be ok ?? )

POSKY is anything but default.....and deleting the afcad is not the way to go, rather edit it with afcad2.

Use the default 737 and fly the approach again.

I did the approach again 2 times 1 with the default learjet and 1 again with the 737-900 posky , but I don't know what's going on but now
he did everything excellent. mabye a ghost in the machine

Nope...most likely a bug in the posky plane or the combination of model and panel. Sometimes when you combine these two newly you
experience strange behaviour that can not always be reproduced. I had the same with an aircraft that 3 out of 4 times would intercept the
localizer perfectly and once be 2 mile offset
Sometimes it can also be the case when the scenery order is not correct !

I've had wierd one-off anomalies like that. I reboot my machine and it goes away forever usually. I just write it off as a temporary RAM
corruption or something else PCish like that rather than the game itself.
