Here's a 5 minutes FS9 video of a BA 747 taking-off from Vienna airport. Lots of shaking PMDG wings...

VERY nicely done! What method did you use to capture the vid and how did you edit? I only wish I could capture a good vid but I am
sooo inept at it. Loved the scenery,too!

Joe, I use Fraps which I think is the most popular tool for screen captures/recordings. Second tool I use is recorder.dll (freeware module).
While the FS replay option only gives you a couple of minutes and doesn't show any AI traffic during replay, recorder.dll can record all of a flight,
including almost all aircraft settings like flaps position, gear, lights etc. plus it shows AI traffic (although it doesn't record it, so each time you
replay the traffic is slightly different which can be a bit of a problem with continuity). So, basically, you just do a normal flight from the pilot seat
which you can repeat with recorder.dll and capture with Fraps as often as you like.

The hardest thing to do is moving the camera. All you can use is pov hat (FS spot view), mouse (walk&follow / active cam) or keyboard (all of
them). Neither will produce smooth movements or zooms. I'd really love to know from other people if there are any other methods or tools for a
smooth cam movement.

Cutting and compositing is done with Sony Vegas which was my best deal so far. It's pretty easy to learn and to use and it works absolutely
flawless.

Cool! I do have Fraps and downloaded the recorder module but the module is still in the zip file, I haven't tried it out,yet. I know nothing
about Sony Vegas, but I suppose I need to "smarten" up about it Oh, and I do have W&F along with Active Camera. I have all of this stuff
but I don't utilize them to their fullest potential. Silly me. Thanks for the tips!
