re: sig banners

Is anyone else using their FSP sig on any other forums? Knowing how we all want to see it do well it may be an idea, as people will see
it and if they don't know about FSP already it may peak some interest.

I don't know much about web programming etc. but would it be possible in that case that if someone sees that sig and click on it, that (s)he would
automatically be redirected to the fsp site?

That might be something for Dan to think about.. I personally don't know how to do it, but I'm sure it could be done, unless we just drop a
link in below the pic or something...... Hmm never thought of that, good idea.

I think a link can represent itself as anyhting, so also as a picture (sig) I would think. But well, it's up to Dan of course.

this said I'm not sure it will work on other forum as they surelly forbid html tag (as I do here but I use special tag)

As Dan mentioned, it depends on the "other" forum, really. You can't setup your FSP sig here so that it hotlinks back to this place when using
it on another forum.

But if the other place allows it, you can setup your sig over there to link back here. Geedit??

Basically goes like this:

1) Usually the tag for displaying an image is [img]image[/img]
2) And usually the tag for displaying a URL is [url=yoursite]sitetitle[/url]
3) So you simply replace the sitetitle by an image: [url=yoursite][img]image[/img][/i][/url]
4) So: setting up your sig to link back here would look like this:
[url=http://www.fspassengers.com][img]http://www.fspassengers.com/images/banner/sig/sdc2.jpg[/img][/i][/url]

Easy, eh?

I dont normally have much of a chance to peruse other forums anymore, and Im here more often since the FsP forum looks similar to my
work email

The other site I went to that I no longer go to Im banned from their forums because I said something that wasnt lemming-like positive and
the headcheese got ticked off. *shrug* If I wanted to be around a Fidel Castro wannabe I would move to Cuba

I still go to Avsim and Flightsim.com forums, also knock around livewire from time to time. The posting of a link didn't work on any of 'em
unfortunately, but I just dropped the actual address in right below and that now links.
