I tryed already with reduced 333 MHz, both sticks are still loaded with errors...

Would it improve performance if i moved them to the /base folder

Would it improve performance if i moved them to the /base folder[/quote] Well, the idea is not so much a performance question (although I suppose if FS9 doesn't have to "look" for a required mesh all over the pc but instead will encounter it in the same folder would make for less overhead) it is basically a matter of avoiding memory related crashes. The default location for mesh files due to MS-FS9 speciication is the /base folder( Note: I am speaking about Landclass/Mesh.BGL's !!! Normally an addon Mesh (such as U-T) should NOT be dependant on textures but bring it's own terrain files (bgl) They should use the textures that are already installed or the default ones. Only very few addon's (Fly-Tampa / Ultimate Terrain Europe) rely on some own textures for additional effects. Greetz Carsten |
