FS Water? Take A Look Here!

I just bought FS Water and couldn't be happier with the results...take a look at the screen shots I just made It seems like I'm on a screen
shot frenzy these days At any rate, the freeware water textures I've tried don't come close to FS Water! The price sure wasn't hard on the
ol wallet either. I can at least buy myself a beer tomorrow while grilling burgers

Im sorry but how can you justify spending $15 on a set of textures???? FSReliablity (failure creator which I use for instruments) cost half that.

Um, Mars looks awfully close to the sun in image #4. DOH! Winglights!

Personally, I still like the textures by Lynn and Bill Lyons (fs9wat.zip).

Nice screenies, though, except for the texture seam in the last one. :8o:

(Start at the tail and come down at about 150 degrees along the seam. Could be an underwater faultline! )

Yeah the seam you see in the water is a fault line...teehee. The previous freeware textures I downloaded from Avsim SUCKED. I
even used Aquarama(freeware and was available in Flightsim.com) and kind of liked those, but FSWater is da bomb!

The water in those shots looks a little bit too "plastic" to me. I still think that my little freeware water collection (not aquarama) looks as good
if not better than fs water. Decide for yourself...

I wish I could tell you the exact contents. It's all freeware that I believe can still be found at avsim. I belive the instructions for making the
"collection" are included in one of the freeflow scenery readme's. That can also be found at avsim I think still.

The water textures you have do look nice. I like the King Air more though Well, we all set up our sims the way we like. Individual
preferences in water textures can vary significantly. I can't fault anyone for their preferences. All I can say is...anything is MUCH better than
the default textures
