I am in the process of creating a new VA and I would like smart, creative and active people who would like to help to join me.
The VA project is in its infancy and so far I am the only member.
The VA name is SkyBound Airline [or SkyBound Air] (and its offshoots SkyBound Cargo, Charter and whatever else).
My idea for the VA is nothing fancy, I am not trying to outdo anybody else's VAs, I am just shooting for something I feel is misisng out there.
Most VAs have their hubs in the usual places (North America, Europe), so my vision is to have a VA that flies mostly where most others
don't: Central and South America, Africa, Asia and the Pacific Ocean. I don't mind flying in the US or Europe, but usually that's where it's
lacking.
SkyBound Airline will use only freeware aircraft, if you want to fly super complicated PMDG birds, this is not the place.
I want to use FSP for PiReps, and I would like to make it madatory, but maybe I'd have to forego that idea.
I want to start the VA with one or two main hubs, and maybe a half a dozen aircraft. Anything over six seats will do, no upper limit.
In the future SkyBound would have many aircraft, in the same fashion as Bush Flying Unlimited, Eurowings or Tradewinds.
I have repainted the first aircraft, ironically an aircraft for the Cargo division, a Lockheed C-141 Starlifter.
Of course there is still much time to grow and change things later, but right now all I have is an idea and a little bit of work done.
I would like to have motivated people who have sem kind of experience join in the beginning. I am not too familiar with programming, so I
would love to have someone join who could setup the FSP side of things.
I can do minor html, nothing fancier (I don't want fancy, I want functional). I can do some repainting, but my skills are limited.
I don't have a website for the VA itself yet, but I have a forum setup, where ideas can be shared and the ball can get rolling.
If you sound interested in this, please join me at: http://skybound.forumco.com/
If you read it this far, thank you.
