Not sure how I'm ever going to get my Pacific Island bush flying service out of debt. I purchased an old beat up Beaver for $34,021 and
flew three flights. On my fourth the flaps malfunctioned and I had to make a landing without flaps. Luckily the airplane was an amphibian
so I just set her down on the water without flaps. The repair cost was over $500,000 however and there wasn't an option to just fix the
flaps. I had to totally restore the airplane. Just wondering if a "repair what's broke" option would be useful for us "shoe string" operators
and how hard that would be to impliment.
