Don't know so much about Dell... dell Dimension 5100 isn't it just the processor ? Maybe a link could help

With all of the possible customizations/configurations that one could possibly have, it's impossible to tell even what your computer has in
terms of hardware.

Give us a list and we'll point out what's strong and what's weak. We can't say though that your system will or won't run FSX as it
should...that's all a matter of how your hardware interacts internally.
