Hey,

I am only 14 and I love flying on the PC and in real life. I am training for my PPL licence because I love flying so much. Also, I really want
FSX to help me and just to have fun. I am not old enough to get a job becuase of my age, therefore I cant afford FSX.

Any ideas on how I can get it?

Ask family and friends if they have any odd jobs doing for a little cash - eg, mow the lawn, wash the car etc

And don't worry, if you can't afford fsx, you can't afford at all the hardware necessary to run it properly. So, stay with fs9 Wink

Finally hardware nowadays is powerful enough to run fs9 at full settings, so why replace it with another version which throws you back 3 years again?

i'm 15 and i cant get a job although i'm happier with FS9 by wat comments some people have made

If you live in the U.S. YOu can get a job at age 14, I'am 14 and im applying at stores at age 14. Dont know if I will get a job, but I know it is
possible for 14 year old to get a job.

Sure you can't work nightshifts but ya can find a job when you're 14.
Even in Holland you can get paid work with the age of 13 , bringing door to door flyers for example.
My kids have nice extra pocketmoney with it and can buy 4 copies of FSX if they want ........ so find work you lazy git Smile

Depending on where you're from, invest in a shovel and then wait for the snow to fall! You don't have to be any particular age for that. I
know! I was shoveling as soon as I could lift the dang thing! AND mowing the lawn, AND taking out the trash, AND doing the dishes... I
can't wait 'till MY kid is old enough to start! Of course, he/she still needs to be born first... Smile

Oh, I just remembered! When my Mother-in-law was planning her trip to Scotland a few months ago (She flew Northwest and KLM by way of BOS and AMS - funny, Airbus with NOrthwest and B737 with KLM!), she put jars all over the house with notes like, "Pennies for the maid," or "Scotland trip fund - quarters only please."

What you can do: Search down the back of the sofas to see if theres a few pounds / pennies there, if there is put em in your pocket. ALSO: Sell those
free McDonalds toys you get in Happy meals. OR! That old lady across the road? Offer to go to Tesco to do her shopping Smile
