PMDG 738 payload questions

Hi fellow captains!

Posted this in the support forum as well so forgive me for double-posting but seems there are more visitors in this forum so thought I
post it here too.

First, sorry to bring this subject up again after already been discussed so many times but that is actually the problem - found so many
different threads about this that my head almost started spinning

My question is, what is the latest status about the compatibility between FSPax<->PMDG and what is the best possible way to load
PMDG's 737-800 when flying it within FSPax?

Also noticed the 'Disable position calculation' option in the Payload Editor but I'm not sure when and if I should check that or should I
instead use the DisablePayloadDialogWeightModif=1 in the more_option.cfg file or maybe even both?

Also though I should try creating my own payload model for PMDG's 737-800...found a great picture and started filling out the max
number of passengers, cargo weight etc but I'm not sure what to put in the Pos X and Pos Y boxes or how to calculate these values and
also, can I choose freely how many stations I want in my a/c? At the moment I have three stations - one VIP that can take 16 passengers,
one business for 69 passengers and then an economy one for another 69 passengers - does this sound OK?

Like I first said, my head is really spinning when it comes to this subject so I would very much appreciate some guidence here

So far I have had no compatibility problems between PMDG 737NG/800/900, PMDG 747, Level-D767, Flight1 ATR 72-500 and Eaglesoft Citation X and
FsPassengers. I use Covoxer's payload models, and it works great, even when I used default I had no problem. I never checked "Disable Position
Calculation" or anything else, it just simply worked.

That's great but are you sure the physics of your PMDG a/c are correct and as supposed? Reason I ask is I know how much time and
efforts PMDG put in making their a/c "as real as it gets" and maybe an add-on program like FSPax might screw the original physics of the
a/c up with some bad luck?

What I have been trying to do is to make my own payload model exclusively for the PMDG 737-800 with the goal to make it 100% accurate
for that a/c but I still have some questions that I haven't quite figured out yet:

1. What is the best method to find out what figures to put in the x and y CG pos boxes? Should I first fully load the a/c with the PAX loader
provided by PMDG and then check the C G pointer and adjust the pos values until the pointer is in the middle?

2. If I want this payload model to be exclusively for PMDG 737-800, should I check the 'Disable calc' option and if doing so, what happens
when having different amount of PAX and fuel on each trip - will checking that box mean that I will only have a well balanced a/c when it's
loaded with exactly the same amount of fuel and PAX as it was when I entered the pos x and y values when I first created the payload
model?

3. Read in another thread on the subject that best practise with PMDG's a/c (and especially the 747) is to leave the fuel handling to
external programs and only let FSP handle the PAX and cargo and that you should always start with fueling the a/c. But...the problem I've
encountered with this approach is that I don't know the weight of my PAX and cargo until I started FSP, need to put in these values in the
fuel planner program for a correct calculation of fuel and on the other side, if I instead start with FSP the values in there and the balance
of the a/c won't be correct since the a/c is not yet loaded with the correct amount of fuel.

Would really appreciate if some payload model guru could give me some tips on how to make the best possible and most realistic
payload model for a specific a/c...in this case PMDG's 737-800.

if you use the box, it will disable potitions and weights for only that payload

if you use the 'more options' and change it to a 1, that will disable the weights etc for every plane/ every payload

OK thanks, I got it and I'm now positive I will leave this checkbox unchecked since I in fact want the a/c to weight differently depending on
how many pax I've got aboard the a/c.
