Can one help please? - airbus74 - 08-02-2009

Hi there,

Have been looking around for an answer if any........ Have been using FSPax for a little while and recently, for what ever reason I cannot pin
point, I have some aircraft, lear45, King Air 58 that recently do not allow me to serve hot food or movie...
(Yes set up allows All aircrafts to have crew and services.....)

Any ideas?

I have re installed DSPax,
Re used default aircraft in case
B737 400 works fines all options not greyed out......

I am lost for ideas?????

Cheers heap

Hmmm, whats your cruise and serving altitude?

Re: Can one help please? - airbus74 - 08-02-2009

Cruising altitude?
Greater than FL18 and up to FL30
can not serve < 6000 ft anyway.........

What intrigues mw is that I use to be able to do it in the past until I had to re installl FS9.........

other aircraft ie B737 can do all those services?

thanks for your reply tracker......

Cheers

Im very positive the 737 series can when youre above 8000 ft and at 1800 FpS or less.
Wonder exactly whats wrong. Might just be that specific plane

Under service on board, we can see on this example ( not mine) that movie is not allowed....

On my option I have movie and hot food not allowed...

Have read threads, will check weight, payloads models, etc etc........

Has anyone got more advice please??????

thank you

I believe those specific aircraft aren't initially configured with a crew on board.
I was under the assumption that you have to specify that a crew is on board for this to work.

Re: Can one help please? - airbus74 - 12-02-2009

Hi Jeff,

I did:o)
check all aircraft have crew..................

I have removed FSPax,
reinstalled the latest version.on a brand new FS9 install

Did not alter any aircraft, created different companies to see if that makes a difference......... seems only B737-400 and larger appear to
have hot food and movie available on board...........

beats me :o((((((((((((((((((((((((((((

Re: Can one help please? - JeffMcBride - 13-02-2009

airbus74,

I'm stumped. I don't know if this is FsPax/FS9 specific so I don't want to overstep my "knowledge" boundaries here. Hopefully Dan or one
of the other FsP veterans can help you out. I will check this in FsPX and see if I experience the same problems. Hang in there.

There is an aircraft weigt below which it won't let you do hot food, but its supposed to be way less than the weight of the 737 (ANY737 that is). I
think that weight is down around 20,000 lbs or less. At least that's what is is in FSP2004, don't know about FSPX. I know that you can do hot food
on a SAAB 340 in FSP2004, for example. I dunno; if you've already thoroughly gone over all the options settings, this seems like a pretty weird problem.
