We have been patiently waiting to know the disposition of your beloved FO, Otto ![]() Re: FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #76 - 77) - DBE - 30-08-2007 Quote:Joeflyer wrote: Well, I've been religiously taking pics along the way, but as nobody had seemed to miss the pictorials (until now)..... Re: FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #76 - 77) - DBE - 30-08-2007 ...And BTW, re: tonight's flight. Be sure to disable crash detection! There are a couple of hidden objects on the taxiways (well at least on the 4th one to the left when landing on RW 23). Re: FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #76 - 77) - Joeflyer - 30-08-2007 Ahhh, yes, crash detection. I found that out the hard way during my first online flight with my new rig ![]() Mark, we all have missed your recon flights. Peeps just didn't want to bother you about it ![]() Re: FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #76 - 77) - DBE - 30-08-2007 Quote:Joeflyer wrote: ![]() Anyway, here are a couple of pics from tonight's leg: ![]() ![]() ![]() Re: FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #76 - 77) - Joeflyer - 31-08-2007 Verrrrryyy nice pics, Mark! ![]() ![]() I had to make 2 attempts at SEMT. After landing the first time, and nearly at the gate to stop, FS9 froze up ![]() according to the event log. On the 2nd attempt, I made sure not to go back to the ramp area where the event happened. Instead, I went to the military ramp. Worked out just fine there. However, on replay, I got as far as intercepting the LOC, went o external view and got another freeze up a minute into the external view. This time it was a damn d3d9.dll error. What the freak'n heck is the problem with these dll's?? It's not like the dll's aren't in the System 32 folder ![]() Anyone have any ideas on why this would happen? Maybe it's FS Recorder module screwing up things. I don't know... Edit: I just looked at dxdiag and it showed AGP Texture Acceleration enabled. Since I no longer have an AGP system, shouldn't that be disabled? Everything else showed no problems. Post Edited ( 08-31-07 05:26 ) Re: FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #76 - 77) - xhado13 - 31-08-2007 Niiiceeeee shots Mark! Re: FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #76 - 77) - DSW334 - 31-08-2007 Joe, for what it is worth.. I also had a CTD yesterday evening, when replaying my approach with fsrecorder. The minute I started the recorder, I got an error about virtual memory etc.. Never seen it before. Never had problems with the virtual memory.. So I am sure, something is not completely right with the freeware scenery ![]() Re: FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #76 - 77) - DSW334 - 31-08-2007 Btw.. DBE.. nice landing ![]() ![]() Re: FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #76 - 77) - Dutch64 - 31-08-2007 I had different problems on approach... Suddenly the windows shutdown sound was playing and a few seconds later my pc was shut down nicely.... Never had this before... Really need a complete fresh reinstall ![]() Re: FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #76 - 77) - pegase - 31-08-2007 Top screenies Mark, Seems I am the only one, with my poor embeded graphic board who did not have technical issues during this flight ![]() However I hope to get quickly the cooling system for my ATI Radeon ![]() Re: FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #76 - 77) - Joeflyer - 31-08-2007 Had another g2d.dll error after taking off from SEMT ![]() without any problems, got to cruise altitude, went to outside view and back to VC, and got a screen freeze. This time another d3d9.dll error. What in the heck is going on with these dll issues? Re: FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #76 - 77) - DSW334 - 31-08-2007 I think it's the SEMT scenery... I think I am going to disable it for saturday's flight. Re: FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #76 - 77) - Joeflyer - 01-09-2007 I uninstalled the SEMT scenery and had no further problems. However, now I have an issue with the SPIM scenery from VirtCol that I haven't had before. Tried loading several different type of aircraft at various times during daylight at SPIM and would get an immediate CTD. I found that it will only load during night time hours. How strange! I even tried a short flight from the nearest airfield to see what would happen during day time. Crossing the threshold for RWY 15, got a CTD. Here's what I get in the event log: Event Type: Error Event Source: Application Error Event ID: 1000 Description: Faulting application fs9.exe, version 9.1.0.40901, faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0xffff0000. I may have to fly this leg during night time if I plan to keep the SPIM scenery...unless of course someone has any ideas on why I would be getting the CTDs during day time. |
