Re: FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #58- 59) - Mac - 27-06-2007

DBE
I don't think my Erfurt > Rotterdam leg is showing up, just uploaded it and just noticed the departure code is ERF1 or something like that. Not what
it should be, anyways.
Sorry Big Grin

Joe, I may join you for the later flight tonight Smile

Cool, Mac!

BTW, I started downloading Skysimulations MD-11 before I left the house to come back to work, so I'll need to sort out the installation
problem with it. Tried installing the damn thing beforehand but it was asking me to insert disk #1 or point to the right directory. So, I
backed out of the installation and went through downloading the .exe to my hard drive a second time. Once I get home, I'm going to try to
find out why the installation is not "seeing" where my FS9 is located. Betcha I have to open the dam registry Wall

Anyway, I'll be online at 2300+1 for sure...if I don't get the installation problem worked out before then, I'll just temporarily ignore it until the
flight is doneSmile

Re: FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #58- 59) - HB-100 - 28-06-2007

Geeee..

DO NOT fly to Pestwick (EGPK) Leg #55!

It's really a pest.
I can not take off from there anymore because whenever I open the flightplaner and choose pestwick it FS9 crashes.

I already wondered yesterday because I had to fly this LEG to Pestwick twice as it crashed when I switched to map to check for the ILS
frequency..

Now I started FS9 already 5 times..
No way..I can not take off from there anymore..except of course without a flight plan... :/

Argh I am 'satisfied' with 'flying' for today...

hehe, sometimes (did I say sometimes??) I also got that feeling Smile

Re: FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #58- 59) - the_nick - 28-06-2007

if I could I would fly every weekend , but my computer is now already 2 months broke . I brought him to the computershop they checked
him and called me a week later to say that he is ready and when I connect him he still doesn't work so I bring him back but this time with
keyboard and mouse because they ask for it they thought that one of those things caused the blocking , one week later I can get him
back , I connect again and guess what happens ... nothing not a damn thing. so I bring him back they check again , one week later again
a call to say that he is ready and working, and they add that if he still doesn't work it might be something else like an external HHD. so I
was happy like a child because I thought now it would work , I plug everything in and what do I see more blocking, then I started like they
said disconnect external devices. in the end I started up with 1 power cabel , 1 mouse , 1 screen and suprise suprise blocks still it also
blocks when I change the mouse for the keyboard. and after that I wanted to format again , now he starts till the loading loading screen
from XP then it shutsdown my computer and restarts if I didn't unplugged the power he would still doing it now . and now my pc is ready
to get his wings and make a flight from the first floor to a nice soft grass landing strip 10 meters further next to a nice pond with fishes.

(if you think that he will fly further let me know Smile )

I really miss the WT2 Cry

Re: FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #58- 59) - DSW334 - 28-06-2007

excuses excuses.. Big Grin we're on the way.. low temperature at destination. so perhaps we can see some snow in the middle of june.. Big Grin

Re: FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #58- 59) - HB-100 - 28-06-2007

Do you mean with 'block' = freeze?

If so try reducing the FSB frequence in your BIOS on start up (FSB = Front-Side -Bus the frequence for the whole system).
Might be you have an instability in your system RAM/CPU causing this. Freeezing is a sign for such.

(Old AMD processors around 1Ghz byway were not really that stable at their specified frequence I possed one where I had to lower the
CPU frequence )

Also possible your Power-Supply or mainboard aged.. (there were some bad capacitors delivered some few years in the past that
destroy themself with the time)

Also did you tray another net socked..!? Maybe your hous-electrical net isn't that stable when it's running in the shop and not at home.

What DID they do in the shop? Didn't y you ask?

Re: FsP World Tour - Season #2 (Leg #58- 59) - DSW334 - 28-06-2007

If you're up for a exciting approach.. take the rwy 17 approach for CYFB tonight Joe and Mac.. Visibility less then 5nm and no ILS.. only DME..
