@ Dan Steph

Dear Dan, would you please be so kind and tell me, us, an approximate release date for FSPX ? It does not have to be exact but could it
be in 4 weeks? or perhaps 2 month?

Also, will the demo be ready before the official release?

Please tell me , i been resting FSX because i been waiting a long time now for FSPX.

I would appreciate an answer to this.

Thank you!

Release date is indeed the first question we all have in mind a bout stuff we are waiting for. But unfortunately most often (if not always)
there is no answer to such question until... the release date

Logic, giving such a date would more likely bring only frustration cz either:
Due to unexpected difficulties to devlop the featueres, the date is postponed Worry
Due to the release date, some feature(s) will not be implemented as expected Rant

Some developpers* are not too much into customer relationship and answer something like "It welle be released when available" or the
reverse Wall

* Dan is not like this Worship but I could really read such answer on a forum Big Grin

Then I prefere forget about date questions and think rather about the features:

I just read with big interest these details about fine differences between transition altitudes and transition level

http://www.ivao.aero/training/tutorials/Ipack/Files/L5-Altimetry.htm

This bring this question:
Would it be possible to implement a command which allow in flight to set the TA/TL to the values given in the ATIS or conrollers
instruction? it might work this way:

lets assume the keyboard shortcut is T.
-when pressed, the copilots says "Transition"
-the pilot type "50"
--If we are below 5000 feets the copilot confirms "Transition altitude 5000"
-if we are above FL 50 the copilot confirms "Transition level 050"

This looks fussy, but aviation needs to be fussy sometimes and don't forget that over most part of the world there is no 18000 ta standard
but different values from an airspace to the other.

Don't worry about it, I don't need anyone asking my opinion to give it Smile

Just a question, Stephan (I would never dare to give you any advice Worship )

As you don't like to get public answer, why not sending your direct questions by PM ?

Like mentioned already if you want to ask Dan the question in private, PM him instead of posting it on the forum for everyone to see.

That way, you won't have a few nice people willing to give a response or opinion. Wink

Stephan: we certainly DON'T need replies such as this one on this forum. And especially towards a well-respected and ever-helpful member such
as Pégase.

Think about that next time..
